Direct Filtration is pleased to report a successful first attendance at the annual Southern Manufacturing exhibition based in Farnborough.
Exhibiting alongside Filtermist, the division occupied a central position in the pavilion showcasing its Process, Air and Hydraulic filter range to visitors across the three day event. Direct Filtration received a positive reception from visitors who expressed a lot of interest in its variety of products and the possible ways that it could benefit their workplace.
The division was keen to showcase its wide range of filter products that have been specifically selected to cater for a number of sectors including automotive, aerospace and chemical as well as popular industrial applications involving gravity, vacuum, pressure and hydrostatic systems.
As the only exhibitor to showcase a range of Process, Air and Hydraulic filters, visitors made the most of the opportunity to talk to the Direct Filtration sales team and enquire further about how the filters could improve processes in their workplace. Grant Tyrer, Product Manager, commented “Exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing provided an invaluable opportunity to promote Direct Filtration to our target customers, as well as helping us to get a better understanding of their specific filtration issues.”
“We have received some excellent enquiries from a wide range of industries and the team and I am looking forward to helping our customers’ resolve their filtration problems.”
Stuart Plimmer, Director of Sales, commented, “Southern Manufacturing was a great platform for Direct Filtration to exhibit its range of filter products. With many new and exciting developments taking place this year, including our move to new premises in Telford, Southern Manufacturing has started off the year as we mean to go on.”
Filtermist’s extraction range was also on show during the event. Visitors were able to view the company’s world renowned oil mist collectors and oil mist, dust and smoke filters from sister company, Absolent. The demonstration unit on the stand was particularly well received as it provided a useful visual representation of how a Filtermist unit removes oil mist from the atmosphere.
